Pinnacle Awards
There is no better way for Otto Bock to express our gratitude to those who have enriched so many lives, than to honor some of the country's most outstanding professionals and amputees. The Pinnacle Awards identify and reward the most dedicated individuals working within the O & P industry today and the community at large. These outstanding individuals carry our appreciation for their pursuit of nobler goals and their outward expression of what it means to excel to the limits of our human capabilities.
Past winners include:
Doug Keil His pioneering spirit and commitment to adaptive skiing made Doug a perfect Pinnacle award-winner.
Kyle Stephens (PDF) His personal commitment to helping others is reflected in his work with Common Ground Outdoor Adventures, providing adaptive sports equipment.
Michael Sciullo (PDF) Michael's age and physical condition haven't slowed him down: volunteering, piloting, building his photography business, and being active civicly is his way of life.
Ronald Goldstein (PDF) Ron's work as a practitioner extends to Mexico, advocating donations of prostheses, as well as providing education to the healthcare community.
David Connolly (PDF) His creativity has translated into awards, landed him on Broadway, and built his career as as a professional singer – all of it as a "guy with red hair and blue eyes", not a bilateral transtibial amputee.
Roy McMurray (PDF) A beloved practitioner, his patients view him as a caring, compassionate person that devotes his personal time to help them pursue their dreams.
Rose Carter (PDF) As a bilateral transtibial/transfemoral amputee, Rose dedicated her teaching career to making sure her students replace "can't" with "can". Her focus has been literacy, serving on various boards.
