Auto-Expulsion Valves are Simple, Effective Solutions

NEW!  21Y14 PushValve & 21Y15 MagValve

Otto Bock has developed two simple but effective alternatives for traditional auto-expulsion valves. Our unique designs simply click into place and avoid awkward cross-threading that is so common with other valves. Because the valves click into place, patients immediately know when the valves are secure without over-tightening.

The MagValve uses magnets to seal the opening, and its low-profile design is perfect for patients with transtibial and upper extremity amputations. The PushValve provides a larger clip to easily grasp when the patient is ready to release the valve. It's great for people
with transfemoral amputations.

Shuttle Locks

Rounding out the family of Otto Bock Socket Technology products are our Shuttle Lock Systems, compatible with all Otto Bock HealthCare and other leading brand components. Each Shuttle Lock System comes complete with all of the components and dummies needed to laminate the Shuttle Lock into a socket. With four Shuttle Locks to choose from you're sure to find the best one for your patient.

The 6A30=20 Shuttle Lock

The 6A30=20 is an extremely lightweight shuttle lock with exceptional durability. The aluminum coated guide bushing creates a precise connection between the titanium pin and lightweight lock. The 6A30=20 lock is designed to be protected from sweat and saltwater, making it highly versatile.

The 6A20=10 Shuttle Lock with Distal Adjustment Pyramid System

The 6A20=10 Shuttle Lock with Distal Adjustment Pyramid System threads onto the socket lamination anchor provided with the kit and is integrated into the socket using the standard lamination technique. The locking mechanism, employing the 6Y13=1 pin, provides a secure and user-friendly connection between the liner and prosthesis. Suitable for patients weighing up to 100 kg (220 lbs.)

The 6A20=20 Shuttle Lock with Distal Adjustment Screws

The 6A20=20 Shuttle Lock is designed for transfemoral amputees or transtibial amputees with long residual limbs. The 6Y13=2 pin (shorter than the 6Y13=1 Pin) secures the connection between the liner and prosthesis and can also be used with the 6A20=10 Shuttle Lock. Suitable for patients weighing up to 100 kg (220 lbs.)

The 6A20=30 Shuttle Lock with Smooth Pin

The 6Y13=T smooth pin of this Shuttle Lock allows for infinitely variable locking and unlocking of the liner, and is a perfect choice for patients who may have problems with "back pressure" created when they sink too deeply into their liner. With the smooth pin, unlocking is a snap. Suitable for patients weighing up to 100 kg (220 lbs.)

The 6A30=10 Shuttle Lock for Various Distal Connectors

The 6A30=10 is designed for patients who have severe alignment problems. It allows you to separate the shuttle alignment from the prosthetic alignment, so that you can place your prosthetic alignment exactly where you want it. The 6A30=10 has an audible clicking sound to assure the patient that the lock has engaged. Best of all, the 6A30=10 has interchangeable inner parts that allow you to service the Shuttle Lock without having to replace the entire socket.
