OTTO BOCK ANNOUNCES FABRICATION JOB WEBSITE
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA September 5, 2003- Otto Bock Health Care, an international orthotic, prosthetic and rehabilitation product manufacturer and distributor, announced the launch of a new Fabrication Services website that makes job status information available at any time, from any internet-enabled computer.
The Fabrication Services network, recently expanded to five locations, is demonstrating a commitment to offering the latest in communication technology to continually improve customer service. The new site offers a secure listing of all jobs currently in process, along with the status and estimated delivery date of the device. To maintain security, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality, each visitor can only view the jobs related to their facility.
In addition to a technically-based solution, a new department has been created and trained to add human oversight to the process. The Fabrication Account Services department consists of seven specialists trained to follow a job throughout the fabrication process to ensure high quality and on time delivery.
“The new Fabrication Services website reflects our commitment to serving our customers,” according to Bill Clover, Vice President of Technical Operations at Otto Bock Health Care. “We’ve also upgraded our quality controls and internal education to ensure that we meet or exceed our customer’s expectations.”
The new website is located at www.ottobockus.com, in the Fabrication Services section. To access the site, a customer needs to contact their Otto Bock Sales Represntation and request their confidential login information.
